What Are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records are a dimension of consciousness that contain the vibrational imprint of every soul and its journey. Within the Records are stored information about each soul’s past, present and future, as well as the multiple dimensions of knowledge and experience not normally accessible to humans in their ordinary states of consciousness.
In the tradition I was trained in, set forth by my teacher Linda Howe, a person’s Akashic Records are accessed through the saying of a prayer. The experience of entering one’s own Records or those of another, is different for everyone. The common thread however is that any question, issue, or situation we bring to our Records is now seen from the broader, higher altitude of the soul. There is often a feeling of peace, of greater light and space, and increased insight. This experience of divine knowing can ultimately bring one’s daily existence into alignment with the soul. This is a healing in itself, with the result that the person can live life connected to his or her most essential inner self.
